  1. I would like to take the item from Amazon to create 2 items on a sales receipt in quickbooks. One line item will list the same sku as Amazon to make sure we track revenue correctly. Second, would be a line item to track cost for the actual inventory item.

    Is this possible with Connex??

  2. Connex does not identify which orders were omitted, nor does it try to rerun the sync to catch the omissions. It is only by running reports from Amazon and then matching them to QuickBooks that the omissions are discovered.

  3. Can you pull the Shopify payout, pull all the associated sales, and create a summary sales receipt with fees? This way, there is no need to use the deposit match tool.

  4. It is exceedingly difficult to pair the orders in ebay that were mapped incorrectly with your manual sync. The 6-digit “Order Number” that is revealed when mousing over the name in the Map Product field is actually the “Sales Record Number” per ebay and the “Order Number” is a 12-digit number with dashes.

    You order previewer only accepts the 12-digit numbers for manual queueing. I don’t get any returns from the Sales Record Number that you call the “Order Number” in the mapping.

    This order from ebay has an “order number” of 01-06733-00529 and a “sales record number” of 12884. …

    Upon review of eBay’s developer SDK (software development kit), the functionality requests is currently not available, sadly.

    Specifically, eBay does not allow third parties to query transactions via the order number.

    We will continue to periodically review eBay’s SDK and revisit if they enable this functionality.

  6. Keep an audit log of rules. If a user adds or deletes a rule, place it in a log.

  7. If a user submits a support ticket and there is a bug, then there is no automated way to notify the user that the issue has been fixed. Connex should create a system where the software developers log an issue, add users affected by the issue to the list, then mass email them when the problem is resolved.

  8. If a user refreshes the drop downs, do it for all connections. Tell the user to run the web connector for all connections. This ensures updating tax codes for Amazon works on the eBay connection.

  9. Enabled "metered billing" support for the Connex order count.

    This functionality would allow the Connex team to enable:
    1. Enhanced subscription plan functionality.
    2. Allow customers to purchase the number of additional order count this wish, rather than a static amount (e.g. 2000, 4000, 6000, etc.).
    3. Allow the Connex team to implement volume discounts when customers purchase additional order count.

    This is a new possibility available to the Connex team thanks to their new billing platform and may be able to offer additional benefits, as well.

  11. Add functionality to the Connex eBay integration that allows for customers to upload a spreadsheet of transactions to Connex and subsequently, to QuickBooks.

    Currently, eBay has a built-in limitation in which eBay only allows syncing of the past 90-days worth of transactions. As such, for customers in need of catching up, it is therefore nearly impossible to do so.

    With the addition of this feature, eBay customers would then be able to workaround this eBay limitation by uploading a spreadsheet of historical sales.

  12. We are considering building a basic insights/analytics tool into Connex. The purpose of this tool would be to deliver to the customer basic insights surrounding metrics such as:
    1. Number of orders synced.
    2. Sales revenue.
    3. Units sold.
    4. Cost of Goods Sold.
    5. And more...

    But we need your help! Is this something that would be useful? What types of analytics, metrics, and/or reports would you be interested in?

  14. QuickBooks Online recently released a feature with which tags can be applied to transactions in various useful ways.

    Currently, Connex Online does not support QuickBooks Online tags. Therefore, this is a feature request to build functionality into Connex Online to support QuickBooks Online tags.

  15. Connex Online customer matching functionality currently looks for exact matches only. In addition, when matching by email, Connex Online can only search for - and match - to one email address.

    As such, for customers with more than one email address, Connex Online is unable to find or match upon the secondary email.

    Therefore, add functionality to customer matching to enable Connex to match against more than one customer email address.

  17. Build an integration with EDI provider Spring Systems (springsystems.com). Spring Systems is a tool that provides EDI solutions to third-parties solution providers, like Sync with Connex.

    What is EDI?
    "Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) refers to the structured transmission of data between organizations electronically. It is used to transfer electronic documents from one computer system to another, i.e. from one trading partner to another trading partner. Benefits can be seen in many areas, including reduced time delays, reduced labor costs, improved data accuracy and increased information accessibility."

    BigCommerce does not currently offer a feature to apply tags to orders.

    We will revisit, once this BigCommerce feature becomes available.
