  1. Create ability to map a custom metafield (created in Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, etc...). This would be extremely powerful. It would allow any discrepancies between channels to be tailored to a specific use case.

    Personal use case: Syncing shopify orders to quickbooks, we have some customers who need to go into their respective account, and some that should go into a lump account "Webstore". Since company names, names, and shipping information are always subject to be changed by the customer, there is always a possibility of conflict when syncing the orders.   2. Right now, in the Rules Engine, there are too many steps for creating a new rule. For example: Click start from scratch. Choose map order number. In comparisons, choose the field. Click map all. Leave map to blank. Click finish.

  3. We need multiple people to access the Connex account, but sharing credentials is not a good idea. Is there a way to create multiple account logins for 1 Connex account? Between, the accounting team or marketing for website connection, multiple people access the application for their roles and functions. Please let me know if this is doable. Thanks!

  5. We are interesting in determining if our valued customers are interested in Release Notes.

    Release Notes is a document that describes what our engineers have shipped (released) within the past two weeks. This includes new features, UX/UI enhancements, functionality updates, process optimization, and more.

    Previously, we were posting this to our Connex Server Status page (status.syncwithconnex.com), but found readership to be low.

    Therefore, is this a feature that you would find useful? Secondly, where would you expect to read this?

  6. The new change where only customers on Silver Plan and above get any kind of human support is very unreasonable. While the help center may have answers to many common questions it does not have solutions to every issue. Not to mention many of the instructions are not very clear. When Connex updates their software bugs will come up and there are also unknown errors. It's ok to reserve premium support such as phone, live chat and screen share for the more expensive plans. It's ok to give premium users priority. But all customers regardless of their plan should be…

  11. Joe, Just offering a suggestion that I think would improve the service. One of the issue I have with the service is with matching customers in quickbooks. As you are aware, everything has to be perfect in a text field in order to find the correct match. I then either have to manually match it after it syncs or let it create a new account (duplicate). Every time a customer updates their user record in Woo I have this issue again even if I manually made Woo and QB match at some point. I use account numbers which I feel…

  13. When I sync inventory from QuickBooks, Connex should sync it when the web connector finishes. I understand that the web connector must receive a response in two minutes or my sync would fail. I wish there was an indicator that the sync was running. I have to keep looking at the pending inventory queue and wait for it to clear.

  14. Basically the goal is so that customers in our BigCommerce store are able to change the shipping address and/or billing address for orders they place without it creating a duplicate user in QuickBooks that has the same name but different details.

    The main field that is being referenced for accounts appears to be the First name & Last name on the BigCommerce account, so when this changes due to shipping to a different address or using different information for a credit card, it creates a new user in QuickBooks.

  15. Add functionality such that if the Connex subscription plan order limit is reached, either:
    1. Automatically apply an additional amount of orders for a flat, one-time fee.
    2. Automatically upgrade the subscription plan and charge the new rate at time of renewal.

    In either case, Connex would handle this automatically, meaning you'll encounter fewer (temporary) interruptions; fewer missed transactions; and no need to contact support for this type of billing issue.

    Currently, if the order limit is reached, Connex temporarily halts the sync until an action is taken, such as upgrading or buying more order count.

    Now that Connex has successfully migrated to a new billing platform, this opens up a lot of doors for us.

    For example:
    Automatic plan upgrades.

  16. It is exceedingly difficult to pair the orders in ebay that were mapped incorrectly with your manual sync. The 6-digit “Order Number” that is revealed when mousing over the name in the Map Product field is actually the “Sales Record Number” per ebay and the “Order Number” is a 12-digit number with dashes.

    You order previewer only accepts the 12-digit numbers for manual queueing. I don’t get any returns from the Sales Record Number that you call the “Order Number” in the mapping.

    This order from ebay has an “order number” of 01-06733-00529 and a “sales record number” of 12884.…

    Upon review of eBay’s developer SDK (software development kit), the functionality requests is currently not available, sadly.

    Specifically, eBay does not allow third parties to query transactions via the order number.

    We will continue to periodically review eBay’s SDK and revisit if they enable this functionality.

  17. Your "Cancel Account" link in the "My Account" page (https://www.connexonlinesync.com/subscription/myaccount) is not linked to anything. You've made cancelling the account impossible.

  18. Create new sales order in QuickBooks from a HubSpot Quote. When you quote a customer with HubSpot the client can accept the quote electronically. This quote will include products and services. When accepted, the quote should become a sales order in QuickBooks.

  19. I use the dashboard with a divided screen, one window has Quickbooks open and the other window has connex open. When I minimize the page, the my subscription box covers half of the selling channels box. I need to be able to move the windows around, or close the ones I don't use often.

  20. HubSpot makes it very easy to quote. We don't want to manage the item database in both QB and HubSpot, so if we can get the Item list from QB into HubSpot on a regular schedule that would keep QB as our single point of truth.
